  • Who We Are
Desenta ("we", "us", or "our") is a white-label platform built for interior designers. We help design studios deliver complete, client-ready project presentations — from concept to budget — through shareable project links.

Desenta is the trading name of DESENTA SIA, incorporated in Latvia, registration number: 40203699982.

Our website is located at desenta.com. For privacy-related questions, you can reach us at admin@desenta.com.
  • Information We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to provide, operate, and improve Desenta.

    Information you provide:

    • Account and studio details — first name, last name, email address, studio or business name, business contact number, business email, business webpage, business address, business Instagram, business logo, and other profile information you choose to add.
    • Project content — design briefs, concepts, references, moodboards, colour palettes, 3D renders and other visualisations, floor plans, drawings and source files, FF&E and Finishes schedules, product links, pricing information (retail and trade), vendor and supplier details, publication status, versions and version history for project sections, and uploaded project files and images.
    • Product data from URLs — when you paste a supplier product link, our AI may extract publicly available information from that page, such as product model or SKU, brand name, material, finish, colour, dimensions, and price, to help populate project schedules and specifications.
    • Pinterest account data — if you connect Pinterest to Desenta, we may access boards, Pins, account information, and followers that you authorise Pinterest to share, including public boards, group boards, secret boards, public Pins, and secret Pins. We use this access to import selected boards and Pins as inspiration references. When you connect to Pinterest, we use OAuth. We do not receive or store your Pinterest password. To maintain your Pinterest connection and import boards and Pins you have authorised, we store OAuth access and refresh tokens in secure HTTP-only cookies on our servers. If you disconnect Pinterest in Desenta, we stop using your Pinterest account in Desenta, delete the Pinterest connection data and cached images from our servers, and clear the technical cookies used for the Pinterest connection. Disconnecting Pinterest in Desenta does not automatically revoke Desenta’s access on Pinterest’s side. To fully revoke access, you should also remove Desenta from your Pinterest account settings. You can reconnect Pinterest in Desenta later if you choose.
    • Communications and support requests — customer support requests, survey answers, messages sent to us, and other communications you submit through Desenta. If you contact Desenta through the support form, the request is sent to Desenta's support mailbox using Brevo and includes the message content, your account email, first name, and last name. Support messages are accessible only to authorised Desenta personnel who need access to respond, troubleshoot, secure, or maintain the service.

    Information collected automatically:

    • Technical data — IP address, browser/user-agent information, request timestamps, and related server or security logs generated automatically when the website, application, or shared project links are accessed.
    • Project link recipient data — when someone opens a shared project link, Desenta does not run separate share-page analytics, recipient forms, or download tracking. Hosting infrastructure may still process basic server-log data such as IP address, user agent, request time, and requested URL to deliver and secure the page. If a designer adds a recipient email to invite someone or manage project access, that email is provided by the designer, not collected from the recipient through the shared page.

    • Usage data — for signed-in users, we may process basic product and session data needed to operate, secure, and troubleshoot Desenta (such as authentication tokens, session records, onboarding status, and server or error logs). Desenta's public website and landing pages may use optional analytics cookies, such as Google Analytics, where enabled and accepted through the cookie banner/settings. If this changes, we will update this Policy and the Cookie Policy and implement any required consent flow before such tools are used.

We do not collect sensitive personal data such as social security numbers or health information. The current free version does not process payments or store payment card numbers.

Project content you add to Desenta — including design references, product data, and files — is not used to train AI or machine learning models.
  • How We Use Your Data
We use your information for the following purposes:

    • To grant and manage access to Desenta.
    • To send product updates, feature announcements, onboarding emails, and service-related communications.
    • To create and manage white-label designer accounts, branded project presentations, schedules, approvals, and shared project links.
    • To enable designers to share project links with clients and other project participants.
    • To display shared project pages to recipients, remember basic project-link access where needed, and protect shared links from misuse.
    • To respond to inquiries, comments, feedback, and customer support requests.
    • To troubleshoot issues, prevent misuse, protect the platform, and maintain service performance.
    • To monitor service reliability using basic server and error logs.
    • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms, policies, and rights.

We process personal data on the following legal bases, depending on the context:

    • Service delivery — we use the information needed to provide the Desenta services you ask for, such as creating and managing accounts, designer accounts, project pages, shared links, and requested features.
    • Legitimate interests — such as securing and improving the platform, preventing misuse or fraud, troubleshooting issues, supporting users, and protecting our rights.
    • Consent — such as for marketing communications or optional features where consent is required.
    • Legal obligations — such as tax, accounting, compliance, or responding to lawful requests.

We rely on your consent for marketing communications. You may withdraw consent at any time by using any unsubscribe link provided in our emails, replying to our email, or contacting us directly.
  • How We Share Data
We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with the following categories of recipients when necessary:

    • Service providers and subprocessors — trusted third parties that currently help us host the website, operate the platform, store files, send email and support messages through Brevo or another configured mailbox provider, support Pinterest connection/import features, support AI-assisted product extraction through Firecrawl, and deliver support. They access personal data only to perform tasks on our behalf and under appropriate contractual protections. The formal subprocessor list and transfer details are maintained in Desenta's Data Processing Addendum, Appendix 3.
    • AI service provider — we use Firecrawl to support AI-assisted features, such as extracting product information from supplier URLs you paste into Desenta. Firecrawl may process the pasted URL and extracted page content for that purpose. Unless we clearly disclose otherwise and obtain any consent or settings required by law, project content you add to Desenta is not used to train general-purpose AI models.
    • Anyone with a project link — designers may share projects through public links or email invitation links. Unless additional access controls are enabled, anyone who has the project link may view the shared project content without creating an account or logging in.
    • Pinterest — when you connect Pinterest, data is exchanged with Pinterest according to your authorisation and Pinterest's own terms and privacy policy.
    • Legal and professional parties — advisors, authorities, or other parties when required by law or when necessary to protect rights, safety, or security.
    • Business transaction parties — if Desenta is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganisation, or sale of assets, personal data may be disclosed as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal protections.
  • People Who Receive Project Links
Designers and studios may use Desenta to share project pages with clients, collaborators, suppliers, or other recipients. If you receive and open a Desenta project link, you usually do not need to create a Desenta account.

When you open a shared project link, Desenta may process limited information needed to show and secure the project page. This may include basic technical and server-log data (such as IP address, user-agent information, request time, and requested URL) generated when the shared page is loaded or when files are downloaded. Desenta does not currently run share-page analytics, derive approximate location, or collect contact details from recipients through the shared project page.

The designer or studio that shared the link controls the project content and decides who should receive access. If you have questions about the project materials, permissions, or client relationship, contact the designer or studio directly. For questions about Desenta's privacy practices, contact us at admin@desenta.com.
  • Cookies And Similar Technologies
Desenta uses essential cookies and similar technologies needed for login, sessions, Pinterest OAuth, security, and service operation. Desenta's public website and landing pages may use optional analytics cookies, such as Google Analytics, where enabled and accepted through the cookie banner/settings. If additional non-essential cookies are introduced, we will update the Cookie Policy and implement any required consent flow before using them.

Our website and platform currently use essential cookies and similar technologies to operate the service, keep login sessions secure, support Pinterest OAuth, and remember necessary service preferences.

    • Essential cookies — required for the website or platform to function. These cannot be disabled through our service.
    • Analytics cookies — Desenta's public website and landing pages may use optional analytics cookies, such as Google Analytics, where enabled and accepted through the cookie banner/settings.
    • Third-party cookies — optional analytics cookies, such as Google Analytics, may be used on Desenta's public website and landing pages where enabled and accepted through the cookie banner/settings. If you connect Pinterest, Pinterest may set cookies on its own website during authorisation. OAuth tokens needed for the integration are stored in first-party cookies on Desenta while the Pinterest connection is active. If you disconnect Pinterest in Desenta, these connection cookies are cleared. We will update this policy if additional third-party services that use cookies are enabled.

Analytics cookies on Desenta's public website and landing pages are optional and can be accepted or rejected through the cookie banner/settings. If we introduce additional non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this Policy and, where required by law, implement a consent mechanism before they are placed. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings, although disabling essential cookies may affect how the website or platform works.
  • Data Retention
We retain personal data for the periods described below, depending on the type of data and the purpose for which it was collected:

    • Early access and marketing emails — kept until you request deletion or unsubscribe, and for a reasonable period thereafter for record-keeping.
    • Account and studio details — retained while the free or early-access account remains active. If the user deletes the account, account and studio details are removed from active systems, subject only to the routine backup, security-log, and legally required retention described below.
    • Project content — Desenta keeps published or archived project links accessible to clients for up to 24 months from the project's original publication date, as long as the designer's account remains active and the link or project has not been disabled or deleted. Archiving or unarchiving a project does not restart or extend this period. We use this 24-month period because interior design, procurement, installation, and renovation projects may continue after publication, and clients may need access to approved selections, schedules, product details, files, and decisions during implementation. If a user deletes an individual project, Desenta disables the related shared and preview links and deletes the project content from active systems. Users should export or save any project materials they want to keep before deleting a project. Before deleting their account, users must export any projects they want to keep. After account deletion is confirmed, project content can no longer be exported, all shared and preview links stop working, and Desenta deletes project content from active systems. Copies already present in routine backups are deleted or overwritten within 90 days after project or account deletion. Security logs are also deleted within 90 days, except records needed for an active security investigation, legal claim, or legal requirement. Access to those records is restricted, and they are deleted when no longer needed.
    • Shared project link server logs — basic infrastructure records created when a project link is requested, such as IP address, user agent, request time, requested URL, errors, and security events. Desenta currently does not run separate share-page analytics, recipient forms, or download tracking. We retain server-log records for a limited period needed for security, troubleshooting, support, and dispute-resolution purposes, unless a longer period is required by law or needed to protect rights, safety, or security.
    • Usage and technical data — retained for a limited period needed for security, troubleshooting, support, and legal or operational purposes.
    • Support messages — retained in the relevant support mailbox for as long as needed to respond, troubleshoot, secure, and maintain the service, unless earlier deletion is requested or longer retention is needed for security, legal, or operational reasons.

Legal or operational reasons for retaining data may include fraud prevention, security investigation, dispute resolution, tax or accounting obligations, backup integrity, or compliance with legal duties.
When data is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymise it.
  • Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

    • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
    • Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
    • Erasure — delete your account or individual projects through the available product settings. You may also contact us at admin@desenta.com if you need help or want to exercise a broader deletion right. Some information may still be retained in accordance with the Data Retention section above.
    • Restriction — ask us to limit how we process your data in certain circumstances.
    • Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format where applicable.
    • Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing.
    • Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at admin@desenta.com. We will respond within a reasonable period and, where applicable, within 30 days.
Account deletion and privacy-rights requests — Users may delete their account through Profile settings. Before confirming deletion, users must export any projects they want to keep; project export is no longer available after deletion. Users who cannot use self-service deletion, or who wish to exercise other privacy rights, may contact admin@desenta.com. Desenta will explain any information that must be retained by law.
  • Data Security
We use technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include serving the Service over HTTPS (TLS 1.3), hashing passwords, using HTTP-only authentication cookies where configured, access controls that restrict account and project data to authenticated owners, token-based access for shared project links, secure handling of authentication credentials, and appropriate safeguards with our infrastructure and service providers. Details of hosting location, encryption at rest, backups, and incident response are maintained internally and can be provided on request where required by law.

Desenta staff may access project content in limited circumstances, such as to investigate a support request, security incident, or legal matter. Such access is subject to confidentiality obligations.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
  • International Transfers
Desenta may process and store personal data in countries other than your own, depending on where we, our hosting providers, and other service providers operate.

Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international data transfers, such as contractual protections, Standard Contractual Clauses, the transfer safeguards described in Desenta's Data Processing Addendum, or other mechanisms recognised by applicable law.

  • Children's Privacy
Desenta is intended for professional use by interior designers and design studios. Our service is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the applicable age in their jurisdiction.

If you believe we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it promptly.
  • Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our website, early access process, or future platform develops. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

In particular, this policy will be updated when the Desenta platform launches and additional types of data are collected. For significant changes, we may notify early access subscribers by email.
  • Contact Us
If you have any questions, concerns, or requests about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your data, please reach out: admin@desenta.com.

We take privacy inquiries seriously and aim to resolve them quickly and transparently.
